Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30am–4:00pm | Paid to Scale
A specialist SEND school in Chessington is seeking a dedicated and adaptable English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will teach English across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons from Entry Level through to Level 1. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with additional needs in a nurturing and structured environment.
The Role
• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
• Teaching English across KS3 & KS4
• Delivering differentiated lessons from Entry Level to Level 1
• Supporting students with a range of SEND needs
• Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
Start Date
The exact start date is still to be confirmed and could potentially be straight after the May half term. The school expects to confirm this by the end of the week.
Duration
The placement will definitely run until the end of the current academic year, with the potential to continue into the next academic year.
Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
• Experience working within SEND settings or with students with additional needs is highly desirable
• Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
• Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential
