Job Title: Experienced LSA
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? A fantastic secondary school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated and compassionate TA to join their SEN department, working with students with autism. About the Role: Full-time position (Monday – Friday, term-time only) Supporting students with autism in a specialist SEN setting within the school Assisting with learning, communication, and social development Working closely with teachers and therapists to implement tailored strategies Creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students can thrive Requirements: Previous experience working with students with autism in a school setting A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach Strong understanding of supporting students with high needs, including autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents Excellent communication and behaviour management skills This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with autism.
