JOB LOCATION:
South Norwood
Location: South Norwood, South London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Contract: Long-term via agency
Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming secondary school in South Norwood.
The Role
• Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities.
• Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence.
• Providing both academic and emotional support to help every child thrive.
About You
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable.
• A patient, resilient and caring approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a supportive team.
