About the role: As a HLTA within a nursery setting, you can be expected to support with the following: - Setting the room up for the day. - Welcoming, settling and registering children at the beginning of the day and maintaining safety records. - Supporting with mealtimes and any first aid needs. - Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. - Organising and initiating structured play opportunities. - Observing and assessing children’s progress and communicating this with parents. - Encouraging social interaction and communication skills.
