KS2 Supply Teacher Job in Ashtead, Surrey
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Supply Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Ashtead, Surrey, from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced Primary Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain experience within a nurturing and forward-thinking school environment. Initially offered as a supply position, there is potential for the role to become a full-time, longer-term opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role
As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 2.
Support pupils' progress, achievement and confidence in learning.
Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Promote resilience, curiosity and a love of learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.
Previous experience in a UK primary school setting (including placements for ECTs).
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Positive, nurturing and pupil-focused approach.
Confident using educational technology, including Google Classroom, or willing to learn quickly.
Commitment to supporting the learning and wellbeing of every child.
