Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - College
We are working with a specialist college in Mottingham- South East London, who are seeking a confident, proactive learning support assistant to join their team from September. This role involves supporting post-16 learners across Entry Level Maths & English, as well as hands-on vocational areas such as Floristry, Garden Design, Animal Care and Agriculture. You will be providing 1:1 support to a learner with SEND needs including autism, ADHD and SEMH. The role includes classroom support, practical sessions and outdoor learning, so candidates must be comfortable working outside in all seasons. What the college is looking for: - GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4+) - Strong IT skills - Confidence to work independently - Comfortable working outdoors in practical environments - A calm, patient and supportive approach - Previous college experience and/ or with SEND is an advantage This is a fantastic opportunity to support young people in a unique, specialist learning environment where no two days look the same.
