Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Wandsworth, London. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, fostering an inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational support to students with varying abilities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Help in the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging confidence and independence.
• Monitor and track student progress, reporting observations and challenges to teaching staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to implement individualized learning plans.
• Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in educational support or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student development.
