Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Lewisham | September 2026 Start

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive SEND school in Lewisham from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist setting, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Location: Lewisham
Role: SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Setting: Mixed Primary and Secondary SEND School
Ages: Pupils aged 4–16
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: Starting rate of £92.63 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Long-term, term-time only
Start Date: September 2026

The Role
As a SEND LSA, you will work closely with pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, supporting their learning, wellbeing, and personal development. You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver consistent, tailored support throughout the school day.
Requirements
Previous SEND experience is essential
Experience supporting children or young people within an educational setting
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
