Job Title: Learning Support Worker
Axcis Education is collaborating with a further education college in Radstock to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Worker. This full-time role involves providing one-to-one assistance to students with learning disabilities within the college's specialist centre at the Somer Valley Campus. The position is available for an immediate start and offers a daily pay rate of £89. Following an initial settling-in period, the role has the potential to become permanent. Role Overview: As a Learning Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment. Your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support to students, assisting them in overcoming challenges and achieving their academic and personal goals. This includes implementing strategies to enhance focus, support learning, and promote social integration. Key Responsibilities: • Offer personalised support to students with learning disabilities. • Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt learning materials and activities. • Implement and monitor individual support plans. • Encourage and facilitate positive social interactions. • Maintain accurate records of student progress and challenges.
