Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for rewarding work in local schools across Tameside? About the Role:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the wider SEND team to provide targeted support to students with a range of needs. You’ll be expected to:
- Assist in the delivery of engaging, inclusive lessons
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional learning needs, including those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and contribute to record-keeping and reporting
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for individuals who:
- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Have experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting (preferably within secondary or SEND environments)
- Are confident, patient, and adaptable
- Show a genuine passion for helping students succeed
