Job Title: Lunch Cover
Position: Lunch Cover Supervisor
Location: Wandsworth, London
Hours: 11am - 1pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time until the end of the academic year
Compensation: Paid to scale
We are seeking a dedicated Lunch Cover Supervisor to join our team at a vibrant educational institution in Wandsworth, London. The successful candidate will work from 11 am to 1 pm, Monday through Friday, playing a crucial role in overseeing the safety and well-being of our students during lunchtime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students in the dining hall and playground areas, ensuring a safe, respectful, and orderly environment.
• Assist with the set-up and clean-up of the dining area, including arranging tables and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Promote positive behaviour and interaction among students, intervening and resolving any potential conflicts swiftly and effectively.
• Monitor student entry and exit to ensure compliance with the school’s security protocols.
• Work closely with the teaching staff to support the needs of students and maintain communication on any issues that arise during lunchtime.
• Ensure that any incidents or accidents are reported in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
• Provide basic first aid if necessary (training will be provided).
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to interact positively with children. Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable but not essential.
