Job Title: Mentor- January start
Axcis have an exciting opportunity for you to become a Behaviour Mentor in a lovely secondary school in Chingford E4. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students with SEMH, providing tailored support to help them overcome barriers to learning and promote positive behaviour. You'll play a key role in helping students to engage fully with school life, building relationships, fostering self-esteem, and encouraging their personal development. This a full time position with hours 8.20 am to 4 pm. Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one and group mentoring for students to improve behaviour and engagement. - Support students with emotional and social challenges, helping them develop coping strategies. - Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to implement behaviour support plans. What We're Looking For: - Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth work setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with students and staff. - Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with students facing behavioural challenges.
