Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Special needs teaching assistant Are you based in or near Chippenham? Do you have a vested interest in supporting those considered vulnerable? Axcis Education are looking for an experienced special needs professional for a full time teaching assistant position. The school are looking for someone to support students with complex needs, including those who live with ASC. The school are also happy to offer training in giving medication should any student require this type of care. The right person will find themselves supporting students either 1:1, in small groups or the class as a whole. Many students at this site will be of primary ages but some may be in secondary. This school is part of a wider federation of special needs schools in Wiltshire, so there may be opportunities in the future to support students in one of their sister schools. The federation offers some great training for staff and a great working environment and team that really strive to offer the best support for vulnerable children. The school provides education for children as young as 5 up to post 16. So whether you come from a care background or have worked with vulnerable children in some other form, we want to hear from you!
