Job Title: PE Teacher PRU
PE Teacher (GCSE & BTEC) – PRU (White City & Greenford)
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM | Long-term commitment required | Start ASAP
Axcis are seeking for an experienced and dedicated PE Teacher to deliver GCSE and BTEC PE in a Pupil Referral Unit. The role involves teaching small classes of 3-8 pupils with SEMH needs. The position is split between two sites, with 3 days based in White City and 2 days in Greenford.
The children may present challenging behavior, so the ideal candidate will need to be experienced with this and SEMH and to also have a firm but fair approach.
Key Responsibilities:
-Teach and deliver GCSE and BTEC PE to students in small groups.
-Manage and engage students with challenging behaviour in a firm, yet supportive manner.
-Act as a key worker/mentor, offering pastoral support to students.
-Create a safe, positive learning environment that promotes emotional regulation and development.
What We’re Looking For:
-Experience in teaching GCSE and BTEC PE.
-Proven ability to manage students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
-Experience as a key worker/mentor is highly desirable.
Both sites are in a great location, and the PRU provides a grounded and supportive working environment.
