The school operates across two sites, offering the opportunity to work with either SEND primary pupils or SEND secondary-aged students. Pupils across both settings present with a range of complex needs, including PMLD, ASD, and additional SEND requirements. Some personal care may be required. For placements at the secondary site, candidates must hold an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service. Some pupils are non-verbal, so strong communication skills are essential, and experience using PECS is highly desirable. Previous experience in a UK primary, secondary, or nursery setting is strongly preferred.
