Job Title: Qualified Nursery Assistant
We are currently seeking a qualified Nursery Assistant to join a friendly and supportive nursery setting in Reading on a full-time, long-term basis. This role is ideal for a passionate and dedicated childcare professional who enjoys helping young children learn, develop and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. Hourly pay rate of £15.17. The successful candidate will hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and have at least one year's experience working within a nursery or early years setting. A good understanding of the EYFS framework is essential, along with strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children. In this role, you will support the daily care, learning and development of children, assist with planning and delivering engaging activities, build positive relationships with parents and colleagues, and help maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment. You will also be responsible for observing and recording children's progress while ensuring all safeguarding and nursery policies are followed at all times.
