Job Title: Secondary Maths Teacher
Axcis Education are recruiting for a full-time Secondary Maths Teacher (QTS) to work at a mainstream secondary school in Weymouth on a temporary basis starting ASAP.
The school is looking for a confident and engaging teacher who can deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3, supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys creating positive relationships with students and maintaining a focused and inclusive learning environment.
The role will involve planning and delivering Maths lessons, marking work, assessing progress, and supporting pupils to build confidence within the subject. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to motivate students are essential.
The school has a supportive leadership team and a welcoming department, making it an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and those looking to gain further secondary teaching experience. The placement is initially temporary, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm, and pay is in line with the teacher pay scale depending on experience.
