Job Title: SEDN Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is presently collaborating with a fantastic primary school in Manchester, who are seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and dependable SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1 to 1 support for a Year 3 pupil with an Educational Health Care Plan starting in September 2025. The principal objective of this position is to deliver specialised dyslexia support to the pupil. The aim is to facilitate their integration into the mainstream curriculum, allowing them to keep pace with their fellow classmates. Furthermore, the role involves fostering effective learning, both within group settings and while working independently. Collaboration is crucial, as the successful candidate will work closely alongside teachers, the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), and the pupil's parents. The school is particularly interested in hiring a Teaching Assistant with a background in working with pupils who have special needs, including experience with pupils possessing EHCPs.
