SEMH Teacher – Primary | Hillingdon
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teacher to join a fantastic primary SEMH school in Hillingdon, ideally located between Southall and Northolt with excellent transport links. This is a wonderful opportunity to work within a supportive and well-resourced environment with outstanding facilities and a strong school ethos.
The school is part of The Willows School Academy Trust, a specialist setting for boys and girls with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The school supports pupils from across London and surrounding counties and currently works with five different local authorities, with the majority of pupils coming from the home authority of Hillingdon.
The school prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role
-The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours, supporting them to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team and benefit from excellent resources and facilities.
-This role will begin with a trial period starting ASAP before the Easter break, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Requirements
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
-Experience working with SEMH pupils and challenging behaviour
-Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
-Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential
-Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive school team
