In this role, you will provide essential support to students with SEMH needs, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment conducive to their academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities: • Assist classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational programs designed to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH difficulties. • Provide one-on-one and group support, promoting positive behaviors and social skills. • Collaborate with teaching staff and specialists to implement effective strategies that support students’ emotional and behavioral challenges. • Monitor and record students’ progress, contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs) and reports. • Encourage a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere to enhance students' confidence and engagement. Qualifications: • A minimum of a relevant qualification in education or support work (Level 2 or 3). • Experience working with children with SEMH needs is preferable. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
