We are looking for a dedicated and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Kidderminster. This is a full-time, rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to support students with a variety of learning difficulties, ASD, and behaviour challenges.
The school focuses on providing smaller groups and 1:1 support, ensuring that children receive the attention they need to thrive in their education. If you have SEND experience and are committed to helping students succeed, we would love to hear from you!
Role Details:
• Position: Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant
• Location: Kidderminster
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm
• Pay: Starting at £89 per day, depending on experience
• Start Date: Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and creating an inclusive learning environment
• Supporting students with academic, emotional, and social development
• Promoting positive behaviour and providing guidance for children with learning difficulties
Requirements:
• SEND experience is a must (experience working with students with ASD and behaviour challenges is highly desirable)
• Classroom experience is highly desired
• A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to supporting children
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• A passion for helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential
