Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Autism & Complex Needs (EN3)
Start Date: ASAP after October Half-Term 2025
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday to Friday
Location: Specialist SEN Primary School, EN3
A warm and well-resourced specialist SEN school in EN3 is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time as soon as possible after the October half-term.
This role focuses on supporting pupils with autism (ASD), complex learning needs, and non-verbal communication. You’ll provide both classroom and 1:1 support, helping students engage through tailored communication strategies, sensory activities, and structured routines.
We’re looking for someone who:
-Has solid experience supporting pupils with autism and complex needs
-Is confident using or learning alternative communication methods (e.g. PECS, Makaton, or visual supports)
-Brings a calm, patient, and nurturing approach
-Can fully commit to a full-time, long-term role within a specialist SEN setting
