Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time (Enfield, EN2)
Secondary School | Mixed SEN Needs | Immediate / ASAP Start
A supportive secondary school in Enfield (EN2) is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full time. You will be working with students who have a range of needs including Emotional Needs (SEMH), ASD, ADHD, and Complex Needs.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping young people thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
-Assisting with a range of SEN needs: ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Complex Needs
-Helping students access learning and stay engaged in lessons
-Using de-escalation, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour strategies
-Supporting teaching staff with differentiated learning and classroom tasks
-Promoting independence, confidence, and social/emotional development
Role Details:
Full time, Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:30–15:30
Secondary school environment
Supportive SEN team and ongoing guidance provided
