Location: Leicestershire (Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley, Coalville & surrounding areas) Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term & Day-to-Day Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing opportunities Pay: £90 - £100 About the role We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support children and young people across a range of settings in Leicestershire, including special schools, SEN units and mainstream schools with additional needs provisions. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping pupils thrive, build confidence and achieve their potential in a supportive and structured environment. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs and learning difficulties • Working 1:1 or in small groups to encourage learning and engagement • Supporting the class teacher with behaviour management and classroom routines • Helping pupils develop social, emotional and communication skills • Creating a calm, positive and nurturing environment • Working closely with SENCOs, teachers and other support staff to meet individual learning goals We are looking for someone who: • Has experience working with children or young people (school, care, youth work, support work etc.) • Is patient, reliable and confident supporting additional needs • Can build strong relationships and remain calm under pressure • Has a genuine passion for supporting learners with SEN • Is available to work full-time or flexible days (we can work around you!)
