Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join our dynamic team in Kingston, London. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, demonstrating a commitment to promoting inclusion and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver tailored educational programs and lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods and materials accordingly.
• Provide a supportive and safe learning environment that encourages student engagement and independence.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Special Educational Needs.
• Proven experience in teaching students with SEND in a classroom setting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong understanding of current SEND legislation and best practices.
