SEND Teacher (Years 4–11) – Specialist ASD & SLD Location: Ealing, London Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:45pm Start Date: ASAP (Trial Available Immediately) Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term for September for a Potential for a Permanent Position in September An Outstanding Ofsted-rated primary school in Ealing is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Teacher to join their specialist provision, working with pupils ages 4-11. This role involves teaching a small class of pupils upto 7 with Severe Learning Difficulties and high-needs Autism Spectrum Disorder. Pupils are predominantly pre-verbal and require support with communication, behaviour regulation, and personal care. The successful candidate will be supported by three experienced Teaching Assistants. The Role -Teaching a small class of pupils with SLD and high-needs ASD - Supporting pupils with communication, behavioural, and personal care needs - Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets - Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents - Creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment - Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential to become permanent in September The Ideal Candidate - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or extensive UK experience in similar role. - Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service - Proven experience working within SEND schools, specialist provisions, or Early Years settings - Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) - Experience supporting pupils who are non-verbal or pre-verbal - Confident managing challenging behaviour and implementing positive behaviour strategies - Passionate, creative, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils with additional needs About the School - Outstanding Ofsted-rated primary school - Highly supportive and experienced leadership team - Well-established and well-resourced SEND provision - Friendly, welcoming, and collaborative staff team - Easily accessible by public transport - Excellent opportunity for professional development and career progression Trial days are available immediately for suitable candidates.
