Job Title: SEND Teacher
SEND Teacher Sutton, South London From Tuesday 1st September 2026, from 9am – 3:45pm (Term Time Only). Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience Axcis are looking for passionate, dedicated SEND Teacher to join an all-through specialist school in Sutton. The students you will be responsible for teaching have a range of SEND needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, PMLD and require personal care, assistance with their medical needs and support regulating their challenging behaviours. This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic SEND teacher to succeed. Your role will include: • Planning and delivering tailored lessons to a small class of pupils with SEND, including ASD, PMLD, and challenging behaviour. • Supporting pupils with personal care, behaviour regulation and communication. • Create a safe classroom environment where every child feels valued • Monitoring and reporting student progress and achievements. • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff to help each child reach their potential What we’re looking for: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications. • Experience working with young people with SEND needs. • A strong understanding of learning approaches and SEND needs. • Strong behavioural management techniques. • A positive attitude towards young people with SEND needs • A patient and empathetic approach to teaching. • Other SEND qualifications are desirable.
