Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary
Location: Trafford, WA15
Pay: £89–£110 per day
Contract: Full-time / Term-time
Role overview:
A Trafford secondary school is seeking a reliable and flexible SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with a variety of needs, including SEMH, ASD, and moderate learning difficulties. You’ll work across lessons and targeted interventions to help students achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting lessons and small groups for students with SEND
• Assisting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Helping staff implement individual support plans
• Preparing classroom resources and displays
Candidate profile:
• Experience supporting students with SEND is highly desirable
• Patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
