Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant - Stockport
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? Axcis Education are working with a Special Secondary School in Stockport, that are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and vibrant team on a full time basis.
This school caters to students aged 11-19 with severe and profound learning difficulties, including those with sensory impairments, complex medical needs, and social interaction challenges.
This school offers a flexible and engaging environment, where all staff members feel appreciated and well supported. They ideally are looking to offer a temp to perm contract for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people with a diverse range of additional needs, adapting to their individual requirements
- Assist in classroom settings to enhance student learning and development
- Work as part of team, contributing to a supportive, team-focused culture
- Foster positive social interactions and communication skills among students
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year's of experience in working with young people with additional needs in the UK. We seek individuals who are compassionate, enthusiastic, patient, and eager to help students reach their full potential.
Daily rate for the role £100-115, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, term time only.
