As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll: Work closely with students with diverse learning needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development. Utilize creative teaching methods and adaptive resources to engage students and promote a love for learning. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. Requirements: Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting individuals with SEND. A genuine passion for working with children and young people, coupled with empathy, patience, and resilience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community. Legal right to work in the UK and appropriate background checks (DBS).
