Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant – Enfield (EN3)
Axcis Education is seeking an experienced, confident, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team in the EN3 area. This rewarding role will involve providing high-quality 1:1 support for pupils with ASD and ADHD, primarily at the primary level. The position is set to start after the half-term break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and mentoring to students with ASD and ADHD on a 1:1 basis.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) to support student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to enhance learning experiences.
- Encourage students to engage with school activities and build their confidence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with ASD/ADHD in the UK.
- Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Must have an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service.
