Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Loughton, Essex
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Starting September 2025
Pay: From £13.69 per hour
Are you a dedicated Learning Support Assistant seeking a fulfilling role in a supportive and dynamic setting? Join our special school in Loughton, Essex, where we provide essential support for children aged 3-19 with severe or profound learning difficulties, including those on the Autism Spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised support to students with complex needs, including ASD, SLD, - PMLD, and those exhibiting challenging behaviours
- Provide personal care, including wheelchair assistance and hoisting
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
Requirements:
- Experience with students with severe and profound learning difficulties
- Familiarity with ASD, PMLD, ADHD, and complex behavioural needs
- Skill in managing challenging behaviour with patience and empathy
- Must be willing to do personal care
