Start Date: September 2025 Location: Smethwick Position Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Pay: From £89 per day/ £13.86 per hour Long-term work available We are currently seeking a compassionate and patient Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive school start this September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting a child with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Key Responsibilities: • Provide support in the learning and development in a child's life. • Assist in implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Support students' academic, emotional, and social development • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff • Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment Requirements: • Previous school-based experience is essential • Experience working with children with SEN is essential • Positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young people • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a child's life.
