Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Kingston, London Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Salary: Paid to Scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic educational team in Kingston, London. This full-time position requires an individual who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored educational programs for students with SEND. • Support students' learning and personal development through individualized attention and encouragement. • Implement specific strategies and interventions as outlined in students' Individual Education Plans (IEPs). • Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes student participation and well-being. • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support. • Monitor and document student progress, contributing to assessments and reports. Qualifications: • Relevant experience in an educational setting, preferably working with SEND students. • Understanding of various learning needs and strategies for effective support. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting all learners.
