Job Title: Teaching Assistant
1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary School A welcoming primary school in North London is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and emotionally within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to provide tailored support, helping the pupil to engage confidently in learning and daily school life. The role includes: Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a primary-aged pupil Supporting learning, emotional regulation, and social development Building a positive and trusting relationship with the child Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff Encouraging independence and confidence in the classroom The ideal candidate will have: Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting A calm, patient, and nurturing approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one This position offers a flexible start date and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive primary setting.
