Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Kingston, London Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM) Salary: Paid to Scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Kingston, London. The ideal candidate will provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to facilitate their learning and personal development in a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and adapting resources to meet individual learners' needs. • Support students with diverse learning challenges, including those with autism, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties. • Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere by promoting positive behaviour and social interaction among peers. • Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required. • Collaborate with specialists and other professionals to implement effective intervention strategies. • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classroom activities and transitions. Qualifications: • Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support (Level 2 or above). • Experience working with children with SEND in a school setting is preferred. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • A nurturing approach with a genuine passion for supporting diverse learners.
