In this role, you will support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their individual learning goals. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering tailored support for students with diverse learning needs. • Foster an inclusive environment that encourages engagement and social interaction. • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) effectively and track progress. • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students. • Maintain a positive and safe learning atmosphere. Qualifications: • Previous experience as a teaching assistant, particularly with SEND pupils, is essential. • A strong understanding of SEND frameworks and strategies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
