Special Needs Teaching Assistant Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands Days- Monday – Friday, 08:30-15:15 Setting – Special Needs Primary School Start Date: January 2025 – July 2025 Contract – Temporary, with potential to go permanent Pay - £83 PAYE, DOE Axcis are working with Special Educational Needs School, who are looking for an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2025. The school are look for somebody who has previous experience of working with ASD, preferably in a Special Needs setting. The school based in Wednesbury in the West Midlands, is a recently open school, catering for pupils with Autism/ASD. With capacity of up to 126 pupils, the school is home to start of the art facilities, including, a sensory room, integration room and dedicated Music and Food Technology rooms. You will be working with a small group of pupils, ranging from the ages of Reception to Year 6, working with pupils with severe ASD, therefore experience with ASD is essential.
