This week's East London market shows a particularly interesting trend towards SEND schools recruiting candidates with backgrounds in sports coaching, PE, youth work and mentoring, using physical activity and positive relationships to improve engagement and regulation. You don't necessarily need years of classroom experience. We're interested in people who understand young people, have strong behaviour instincts and can channel a student's energy in a positive direction.
