Job Title: Support Worker School Hours
Are you looking for a rewarding Teaching Assistant role where you can genuinely change lives? We’re recruiting a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to support post-16 students with autism and learning disabilities at a welcoming further education setting in Bath.
This well-respected college is known locally for its inclusive approach and focus on preparing young people for adulthood. With modern facilities and a strong emphasis on life skills, employability and independence, it offers a nurturing environment where students feel supported and valued. Its most recent Ofsted report highlights the positive relationships between staff and learners, a safe and respectful culture, and a clear commitment to helping every student reach their potential.
This role would suit graduates, support workers, youth workers, sports coaches or anyone with a passion for working with young people. Previous experience is helpful, but not essential – we’re really looking for the right personality: patient, positive, reliable and keen to make a difference.
The role:
• Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am–3:30pm)
• £14.30 per hour
• Starting in September, with the opportunity to become permanent after a 16-week settling-in period
You’ll support students in lessons, encourage independence, and help build confidence both academically and socially.
If you’re motivated by meaningful work and want to be part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Apply today to be considered for this role.
