KS4/5 Science Teacher – Secondary School – Tower Hamlets £170–£230/day (depending on experience) | KS4/KS5 | Tower Hamlets | Full-Time | Long-Term | Maternity Cover Axcis are proud to be supporting a high-performing secondary school in Tower Hamlets who are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Science Teacher to teach KS4 and KS5, on a full-time, long-term maternity cover, starting after February half term, with trial days before the break. The school has a well-resourced Science department, excellent lab facilities and a culture of strong academic outcomes supported by clear behaviour systems and pastoral care. This is an ideal opportunity for a Science teacher looking to teach at GCSE and A-Level within a supportive, forward-thinking school environment. In this role, you will be: • Teaching Science across KS4 and KS5, including GCSE and A-Level classes. • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and engage learners. • Marking, assessing and tracking progress in line with school and exam board standards. • Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development. • Supporting pupils academically and pastorally where needed. What we’re looking for: • QTS (or equivalent). • Experience teaching Science at KS4, with KS5 experience highly desirable. • Strong classroom management and subject expertise. • Commitment to full-time, long-term work. • A reflective and collaborative teaching style.
