Job Title: Teacher
KS2 Teacher – Inclusive Primary School – Barking & Dagenham
£170–£240 per day | QTS Required | Full-Time | Long-Term
Axcis are supporting a well-led and inclusive primary school in Barking & Dagenham who are seeking a confident and committed KS2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
The school has strong leadership, clear behaviour systems and a collaborative teaching culture. There is a growing SEND cohort within the school, and leadership are looking for a teacher who understands differentiation and inclusive classroom practice.
The school is accessible via local train lines and offers onsite parking.
About the Role
You will be responsible for a KS2 class of approximately 28–30 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
You will:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the National Curriculum
• Differentiate effectively to support pupils with SEND
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Track progress and use assessment data to inform planning
• Work collaboratively with SENCO and support staff
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• KS2 teaching experience
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
• Commitment to long-term classroom stability
