Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
We are working with a mainstream secondary school in Stretford, looking to appoint a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.
About the Role:
Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Working alongside teachers to support learning in the classroom
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour
Helping students with additional needs to access the curriculum
Requirements:
Experience supporting students at secondary school or college level is essential – applications without this experience cannot be considered
Comfortable managing challenging behaviour and confident in building positive relationships with students
Any additional knowledge of special educational needs (SEN) is an advantage
Must be reliable, proactive and able to work 5 days a week
Holding an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
