Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Special Needs Support
Full-time • Term-time Only • 8:30am–3:30pm • Primary School
Pay: £93–£98 per day
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with additional needs in a welcoming and well-established primary school in Eastville, Bristol. This full-time role begins in Term 5 and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child’s learning and development.

About the Role
As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 support to help a pupil engage with learning and reach their full potential
• Use tailored strategies to support emotional regulation, engagement and social development
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and external professionals to deliver consistent support
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Support learning both in the classroom and through outdoor/Forest School activities
