Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Warrington We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at a small primary school in the Warrington area. This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm), providing a mix of 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with emotional and learning needs as well as general classroom assistance across Key Stage 1. About the Role: Provide tailored 1:1 support for a little boy in Year 2, helping him to engage with learning and develop confidence in the classroom. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies. Support the wider KS1 class, assisting with group activities and general classroom tasks. Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive. About You: Experience working with children, particularly in a school, educational, residential or care setting. A patient, caring, and understanding approach, with the ability to support children with emotional and learning needs. A strong team player with excellent communication skills. A passion for supporting children’s learning and development. Teaching Assistant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3) are desirable but not essential.
