Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant – Full Time Plymouth | £89–£95/day (depending on experience) Start ASAP or September We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Plymouth that has a high percentage of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). They are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small intervention groups, helping children access learning and build confidence in and out of the classroom. What’s Involved: Supporting pupils with SEND needs Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Encouraging independence and emotional resilience Full-time hours (Monday to Friday, term time only) Who We’re Looking For: Classroom experience preferred – but not essential We welcome applicants from care, support work, youth work, or similar backgrounds Confident, calm, patient, and compassionate Passionate about supporting children to reach their potential This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school setting and gain valuable experience with SEND pupils.
