We are seeking a highly motivated Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and dedicated to contributing positively to our school community.
### About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the support and development of students within our school. Your duties will encompass a range of tasks aimed at fostering a supportive and effective learning environment, under the guidance of our classroom teachers and SENCO.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the delivery of classroom activities and creating a stimulating learning environment.
- Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning material initially introduced by the teacher.
- Providing class cover in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of education for all pupils.
- Supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral development of pupils.
- Aiding children with special educational needs (SEN) and facilitating their access to the curriculum.
- Contributing to the planning and preparation of lessons and educational materials.
- Participating in school meetings, parent consultations, and school training sessions as required.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Ensuring the effective use of resources and adhering to health and safety guidelines within the classroom.
- Assisting with extracurricular activities, including trips, sports events, and clubs.
### Skills & Qualifications:
- A recognized Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 3 or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a classroom setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of classroom practices and educational strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that values diversity.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Competence in literacy, numeracy, and ICT to support the educational process.
