Pay: £90–£95/day PAYE
Hours: 08:30–15:30, Monday–Friday, Term Time.
Axcis Education is recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students at an SEMH all-through school in Salisbury. This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for anyone passionate about working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including those with ASC profiles, in a trauma-informed environment.
Role responsibilities:
• Support students with SEMH needs across the school day
• Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning, behaviour strategies, and trauma-informed approaches
• Support students with ASC profiles in managing social, emotional, and academic challenges
• Promote emotional regulation, social skills, and positive routines
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team
Requirements:
• Professional or personal experience supporting SEND or students is desirable
• Understanding of trauma-informed practice and ASC profiles is highly valued
• Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
