Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Secondary Teaching Assistant Location: Brent, North West London Pay: £90–£100 per day Contract: Ongoing, Monday to Friday in Term-Time Start Date: Flexible We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and forward-thinking alternative provision setting in Brent. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people who have experienced challenges within mainstream education. About the Role As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to re-engage students in learning, helping them to rebuild confidence, develop positive behaviours and work towards recognised qualifications. The environment is small, nurturing and academically rigorous, with a strong focus on high expectations and personal responsibility. You will support students across a largely mainstream curriculum, either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, and play a key role in preparing them for their next steps — whether that is a return to mainstream education, specialist provision or post-16 pathways.
