Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a friendly and inclusive primary school in Birmingham. This full-time role begins in September and is expected to continue for the duration of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing throughout the school day.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Delivering tailored 1:1 support and small-group interventions
• Assisting children with SEND to access learning successfully
• Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Contributing to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Availability to commit to a full-time role
